Thompsons NI secures significant £375,000 settlement in mesothelioma case

Thompsons NI Solicitors has recently secured a significant settlement of £375,000 on behalf of a widow of a gentleman who passed away as a result of mesothelioma.

Her husband contracted mesothelioma as a result of exposure to asbestos fibres during his employment as a mechanic, maintenance engineer and fabricator/ fitter with a number of previous employers.

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that develops in the lining that covers the outer surface of some of the body’s organs although mainly affects the lining of the lungs. It is usually linked to asbestos exposure.
